Dear visitors,

A Blood Donation Camp was organized by SOFIA at Machantala Road junction of Bankura town on 27^th June, 2004 [Sunday] at 9.00 AM to fulfil the recent crisis of blood at Bankura Blood Bank. The program was inaugurated by the Police Superintendent of Bankura Mr. Anil Kumar (I.P.S). Mr. Biswnath Basu, Additional District Magistrate, Mr. Dilip Mondal & Mr. K.P.Barui both Deputy Superintendent of Police and Mr. Ajit Kumar Ganguly, Chairman of Bankura District Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. were present at the inauguration program as our honored chief guest and motivator. More than two hundred peoples visited the camp and encouraged us. Forty two (42) of them donated there most valuable BLOOD for the needy and injured patients. All of our donors were honored with "T"-shirts, badges, credit cards etc. Details of these donors will be published soon on this page. Mr. Bipradas Middya of Blood Donors Association of Bankura helped us a lot with his motivation and participation. The program ended with a collection of 42 bottles of Blood by the Blood Bank, Bankura.
